Celebrate syllabus week with these weekend events

Acoustic Music Jam

Musicians of all skill levels are invited to an afternoon of acoustic tunes. Bring your musical instrument to the Northwest Family YMCA and jam to folk, traditional, country, bluegrass, rock and pop music. Members and non-members are welcome to come jam or listen.
When: Sunday, 2-4 p.m.

Impractical Jokers

The cast of truTV’s “Impractical Jokers” is making their way to Syracuse. Before Joe, James, Brian and Sal gained fame from their televised pranks, these four Staten Island natives kicked off their performance careers in 1999 when they formed the comedy troupe “The Tenderloins.” Their current tour, “Santiago Sent Us,” will play two performances at the Landmark Theatre.
When: Sunday, 5 p.m and 8 p.m.

Spafford in Concert

An eclectic mix of music takes the stage at the Westcott Theater this Friday. Spafford has toured the country performing a blend of music and dance that they describe as being like “Electro-Funk Therapy.”

The Illusionists

Prepare to be mesmerized as five world-class magicians perform acts of levitation, mind-reading and torture escapes. The Daredevil, The Deductionist, The Inventor, The Manipulator and The Trickster combine their talents in a new tour: THE ILLUSIONISTS: Live From Broadway.
When: Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.

Willie Nelson Tribute Concert

Spend Friday night in the best way possible — listening to musical icon Willie Nelson’s best songs as part of a tribute concert. Local musician Lou Sacco and Friends will be part of the concert as well, which consists of 25 of Nelson’s top hits and some information about his life.
When: Friday from 7-9 p.m.
Where: Brewerton Center for the Arts of CNY, 9660 Brewerton Rd., Brewerton
Cost: $10 at the door

Arts for All

Fun awaits the entire family at Arts for All, an art engagement event organized by Symphoria. It aims to connect families with local art organizations through a day is full of performances from groups like CirqOvation, exhibitions, classes and other activities.
When: Saturday from 1-6 p.m.
Where: Exhibition Center at the New York State Fairgrounds, 581 State Fair Blvd.
