Syracuse University’s Department of Public Safety is investigating reports of a bias incident that allegedly took place in Ernie Davis Dining Hall on Monday.
DPS received a report that a student made offensive comments with “racial undertones” to another student, according to a Thursday release from the department.
DPS said it has offered support services to the student who reported the incident. Other students in need of support may access the Barnes Center at The Arch at (315) 443-8000, Student Outreach and Support at (315) 443-4357 or Hendricks Chapel at (315) 443-2901.
