Student remains in critical condition two weeks after car accident
Syracuse University student Maria Cristina Sanfeliu-Cruz remains in critical condition at Upstate University Hospital, said Kathleen Paice, the hospital’s media and events coordinator, in an email.
Sanfeliu-Cruz, 21 years old, was admitted to the hospital May 2 after she was struck by an Express Taxi cab on the 700 block of Comstock Avenue. She was immediately transported to the hospital after she suffered a head injury.
Sanfeliu-Cruz studied writing and rhetoric at SU and was expected to graduate Sunday.
